Google’s Android operating system is a system like no other. Many have said that it will be the next the next generation of computers through its operating system on the smart phones and tablets. There are a lot of patent wars going on right now with the operating system and it could lead to an increased cost for the Android system over time and take away from all of the advantages it has to offer.The main competitors who are causing the turmoil with the Android operating system are Apple, Microsoft and Nortel. They are making it where the patents are not being treated fairly and people are trying to take advantage of them.

Amazon and Google are both facing issues with the software patent wars and it is making it harder to have such things as the operating systems and social networks not be affected. Microsoft and Google have a few battles going on with Microsoft filing complaints of anti-trust all over Europe. No matter what Google’s efforts are there is still going to be a war against the patents between them and Microsoft.

In the end there are a lot of people who have reason to believe that Microsoft is going to be the one to come out ahead of Google in terms of the Android operating system. This patent war is not going to be the end for Google with the Android operating system but it will definitely make things harder. Companies like Amazon who are trying to build their own operating systems are going to have far larger patent fees and they are not going to have as great of profit margins based on the number of hoops that the process will have to go through.

In the end this war over the patent for the Android operating system is going to cause a lot of turmoil for a lot of different people and companies. It is not going to affect one company but multiple companies and cause more fees for everyone and a lot smaller of a profit margin. The war has yet to be ended and only time will tell who is going to come out ahead when all is said and done. For now all we can do is sit back and wait.
